Voices of the Boreal
“Voices of the Boreal” – A series of vignettes highlighting the pressures and competing interests of the Boreal Forest. Voices of the Boreal profiles many different jobs and a way of life - living in or off the land in the Boreal Forest. This "chapter" profiles a heavy hauler dump truck driver. He talks about the importance of education for the First Nations people.
We really are thrilled with the outcome of ‘Voices’ We are thinking of including the DVD alongside our boreal-related teacher professional development and student programming and nominating ourselves for an Emerald Award.
